These kilt buckles fit a standard wide belt worn with
your kilt. The Irish Coat of Arms badge in the center of
the buckle is available in either solid sterling silver
or pewter The Coat of Arms are deeply engraved
into the shield surface that is raised above the
beautifully engraved sterling silver or pewter Celtic
cross background. This is a high quality
custom-made piece of fine craftsmanship designed to last
a lifetime or more! The cross is 1-7/8
inches by 1-7/8 inches wide.
We
make our sterling silver badges by the "lost wax casting" process, which
allows us to carve ourdesigns deeply into the surface
in high relief on many levels. This gives the badge
design a three dimensional quality.Each Irish badge is
painstakingly made by hand and the difference is
significant. These badges areNOT made by die stamping
or machine engraving. Again, the difference in
the end product is significant.
